What is ACE? The Australian Centenary Event (ACE) is a camp Girl Guides Australia is holding to celebrate 100 years of Guides in Australia. It’s going to be a massive birthday party!
When is ACE? 3-9 January 2010.
Where will ACE be held? ACE will be in Victoria, Australia at the Marcus Oldham College in Geelong. This is approximately 80km south-west of Melbourne.

Who is invited? Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from all over Australia and the world.
How old do you have to be? You need to be at least 10 years old by 9 January 2010.
What will we do at ACE? The activities are still being confirmed but here are some ideas I have so far….Camp outdoors in tents (with floors), visit the city of Geelong on the ACE Race, visit my friends the fairy penguins at Philip Island,horse riding, sailing, explore Sovereign Hill and strike gold, Surf a wave, try caving, help sick animals, visit a zoo, try clowning and juggling, learn crafts from 1910, challenge yourself on the ropes course, make friends with Guides from all over Australia and other countries of the world and help us celebrate 100 years of Guiding around the world.
